Our church welcomes all on a spiritual journey

of worship, learning, and service –

living into Christ’s name.

The best way for you to get to know about our church is to come visit! We hope you will.

For current updates, pictures, and impressions about our church, please check out our facebook page: Christ UMC.

We seek to be a community church, and our ministries are all about building Christian community within our congregation, participating in interfaith community work with our neighbors, and celebrating the opportunity to meet and know those who live in our neighborhood.

We love children and love to see them active in the church. We honor their contributions in worship, whether helping light candles, offering a song, or coloring and playing with toys during worship. We know they bring the Spirit to worship with them!

Some of our ministries include:

The Well for Children: Faith formation for children is presently happening on Sunday mornings. Children 4 and up are invited to join their families and become familiar with worship at 10:30am, but have the option of leaving with trained adults during the sermon time for an age appropriate message that corresponds to the sermon. We have a staffed nursery every Sunday during worship for children 4 and under, or at the discretion of parents.

Adult Education: Sundays at 9am, year round.

Study Groups: Various study groups meet throughout the year, including Bible Studies, Book Clubs, and short term topic based studies. Call the office at 651-739-8875 to see what we’re up to!

Choir: Our choir enhances worship throughout the year, and occasionally during the summer. We are always looking for new choir members!

School Partnership: We partner with Highwood Hills Elementary to support the teachers and staff, encourage families, and provide volunteers for ongoing support and special events. The school provides us with energy, joy, encouragement, and a stronger community!

Drop In Days: Join us on the third Thursday of the month, 11am-2pm, for drop in days! Each month offers a variety of activities along with a free, healthy lunch and blood pressure checks!

The JOY Garden: We have a large community garden, open for you to have a place to garden or to join us in loving God’s creation all summer long! 2016’s best crop: zucchini. 2018’s best crop: tomatoes!

COME/CHEW Fellowship:  We get together for breakfast and conversation each month on the second Thursday at 8am at church. Anyone is welcome to join us!
